Marion sees good design as problem-solving, and loves the Swiss for Helvetica (and not for their chocolate). Formerly trained as a sociologist, Marion believes that communication, literally as well as visually, is the key to living together in a society, and that the role of a graphic designer is as an interpreter of ideas. She has lived in Germany and the UK, traveled extensively in Africa, but now calls the Bay Area home — so much for staying within the grid.
