Clara Martinez

Clara Martinez is a Mexican-American education equity practitioner, curriculum designer, and first-generation advocate. She is passionate about leveraging design thinking, strategy, and program design to improve education and career outcomes for underinvested students in higher education. Prior to veering into the education sector, she worked in international affairs with a focus on US foreign policy and humanitarian-oriented projects in cities including Mumbai and Johannesburg. Her expertise includes college access/college success and career readiness coaching among first-generation and low-income undergraduates, accelerator models in education, corporate social responsibility, and international exchange and professional development programming for senior-level professionals.
